Raven started writing when she was little and hasn’t been able to shut up about it since. She can be found in Vermont with her handsome husband, being creative in whatever way she can. Outside of writing, she enjoys running, cosplay, video games, baking, and her other 38654 hobbies, and can always be found snuggling with her cat.

Writing
I have been obsessed with stories since I was a child listening to my mom read "It's Not Easy Being a Bunny" for the 500th time. I don't even remember the first story or poem I wrote, because I've just... always written. Through most of my teen years and early adulthood, I explored thrillers and wrote (but did not publish) 5 novels and a multitude of short stories. These days, I'm having fun playing with genres I'm newer to - horror and cyberpunk. Hopefully soon, I'll share my stories with the world.

Gaming
Like writing, I have also been gaming since I was a wee girl, sitting in front of our family room TV, playing Mario and 007 on the Nintendo 64 with my brother. I've had a handful of consoles over the years - the original Xbox, a Nintendo DS, an Xbox S (all of which I still own!) - and I graduated to building my own gaming PC in 2020. I even streamed on Twitch for 4 years. Somehow, I still manage to be terrible at basically every game I play, lol.

Cosplay
Now cosplay, I have not done since I was a kid. I actually remember dressing up one year when I was 13 as the Phantom of the Opera (still my favorite movie), no one recognizing me, and deciding to never do that again. Joke's on me, in 2015, I went to a comic convention dressed as Kaylee Frye from Firefly and got bit by the cosplay bug. Sadly, the only superpower I got was the inability to start a new show without saying "I could cosplay that." While I do enjoy just being in character or assembling pieces for a costume, I love handmaking many of my cosplays from scratch.
